On a wilderness adventure in Nepal, I had an epiphany that changed the course of my life. Realizing the cycle of human impact on earth can wreak havoc for every life form, I began a new journey. This powerful realization motivated me to pursue an MBA in Environmental Entrepreneurship and open a marketing agency to help leaders shape business in a new way.

Fueled with my technology, media, and marketing skills, I helped launch the first and largest green building expo that transformed eco-friendly design, materials, and architecture. Business owners showcased products in an arena that brought thousands of manufacturers, homeowners, and building developers together, bringing new ideas and practices to a global audience. I worked on many projects that involved writing business plans, websites, and public relations campaigns.  

As a StoryWay Guide, I am excited to voice those who are making transformative and lasting change. Behind every project I work on is an uplifting person who has brought value to many lives. I’ve written op-eds for business and community leaders who made significant changes in clean energy policy. With my rich background in communications and marketing, I produced television commercials for small and large businesses, developed vegan frozen food packaging to launch healthier food brands, and guided new leaders to be stewards of their marketing.

My comfort in nature strengthens my connection to stay enthusiastic, curious and connected. As a Reno, Nevada resident, my playground is in the Sierra Nevada. You’ll find me and my sweetheart climbing, biking, or backcountry skiing in the alpine mountains near Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. I share my skills by teaching outdoor and navigation with new outdoor enthusiasts. At home, we witness baby quail hatch in our rosemary bushes and enjoy eating swiss chard, basil and fresh tomatoes from our small garden.
