Greetings,

My name is Tim Jacobs, and I’m a StoryWay Guide because of my love for family history. I thoroughly enjoy learning about the heritage and dynamics of families and how they left their mark upon generations. I’ve written and published more than a dozen family books and have been featured on C-SPAN for my book on the Civil War. One exciting family story was discovering my wife is related to Ben “The Tall Texan” Kilpatrick. He was a notorious outlaw of the Wild West riding with Butch Cassidy robbing trains. As for me, I’m a distant cousin to none other than Ernest Hemingway.

Since 2018, my wife and I have been living a rather unique lifestyle. In the spring and summer, we travel throughout the farmlands and orchards in upstate New York visiting family from our Thor Vegas motorhome. Come fall, we travel to the northern mountains of New Hampshire, then we head to Florida for the winter. This lifestyle affords us priceless time with our nine granddaughters—all under the age of six! 

We also stay active by hiking daily, playing tennis, and teaching classes on writing.
